Lead paint may be hiding in your home
What it is:
Lead paint was used for decades and is sometimes under layers of newer paint. Lead paint is a hazard if it’s damaged (chipped, cracked, peeling, etc.) or in a place where children can chew or come in constant contact.
What it does:
Lead has negative effects on virtually every organ and system in the body.
